Menu

The Temple House’s vegetarian Sichuan cuisine restaurant, Mi Xun Teahouse, has once again been awarded with one MICHELIN star in MICHELIN Guide Chengdu 2023. To celebrate the recognition, a MICHELIN tasting menu is specially created by Chef Tony and the team.

Mi Xun Teahouse serves fine Chinese teas and vegetarian regional Sichuan cuisine. Its menu is inspired by the nourishing dishes once served at the thousand-year old Daci Monastery nearby.

Reflecting the storied tea culture of Chengdu, our Teahouse offers different types of tea. Sip them alongside fragrant vegetarian specialities such as Braised Ma Po Tofu in Wild Mushroom Sauce and Handmade Spinach Noodles with Dan Dan Sauce that use locally sourced ingredients and herbs grown in the House garden.

FROM OUR CHEFS

FROM OUR CHEFS

We work with organic farmers in Yunnan to get excellent quality mushrooms, herbs and vegetables; plus we have our own herb and vegetable garden. We also sourced tea from local Sichuan tea farmers and have our own tea field to get the leaves that we use in our restaurants, shop and spa.
