Exciting February celebrations in The Temple House

(Chengdu, January 24, 2017) – The Temple House’s restaurants and spa team have prepared a series of exciting and creative menus celebrate and activate a new year.

The Temple Café

For a limited time, until February 26th, Chef Jerome will prepare creative French bistro cuisines with a Chinese twist. Creative dishes include glazed hongshao pork ribs cauliflower puree and mini broccoli, foie gras rougie green dumpling and Chinese stew reduction, French gong bao chicken served with pilaf rice, and chocolate and praline “tang yuan” with cinnamon, star-anis, goji tea, and mint leaves

Chef Jerome has also prepared romantic set dinner for two on the Valentine’s day.


From now until mid-February, guests will find a Chinese New Year themed Afternoon Tea set at MI XUN TEAHOUSE. Nostalgic dishes such as rice cake with kumquat flavor, Chinese New Year chestnut cookies, and mini rice ball with hawthorn puree, can be found on the menu. 

MI XUN TEAHOUSE also provides Chinese New Year vegetarian specials, which introduces healthier options for this festive season. You can also find traditional yuan xiao (sticky rice dumplings) here on Lantern Festival, to complete the Spring Festival celebration with a sweet note.


From February 11th through February 28th, TIVANO will activate a series of Venetian Carnival celebrations. From Veneto regional gourmets, to live music at Piazza San Marco, to Masquerade blind wine tasting dinner, TIVANO is bringing the charm of Venice to Chengdu in February. There will also be Valentine’s day carnival dinner special on February 14th.
