The Temple House presents exclusive afternoon tea at MIXUN TEAHOUSE inspired by Amelie Wang
(Chengdu, 1st June, 2018) The Temple House will offer exclusive afternoon tea collaborations with Amelie Wang at MIXUN TEAHOUSE; each set will be available daily from 1st of June. The initiation of this collaboration is that both MI XUN Teahouse and Amelie Wang celebrate the creativity and the beauty of Eastern culture, well received by both the East and the West.
Amelie Wang is China’s first new Chinese style parent-child designer clothing brand, building the inheritance of parenting aesthetics and traditional culture to promote traditional clothing and exquisite life style. MIXUN TEAHOUSE, on the other hand, is situated in a historical heritage, which best expressed the beauty of Sichuan traditional architecture and culture. This collaboration connects these two amazing brands. Together, MIXUN TEAHOUSE and Amelie Wang celebrate the beauty of arts, cuisine, fashion, culture and creativity.
Themed “Midsummer Lover Beauty”, the 2018 summer model is mainly composed of printed fabrics color with low saturation which break the traditional Chinese red, yellow and blue, and is also composed of a soft, ambiguous feeling and a soft material. The product is not only the shadow of history, but also the collision and penetration of tradition and fashion. Therefore, let children have a new understanding of Chinese aesthetics, fall in love with the Chinese style design, and learn to understand beauty and feel beauty.
Inspired by Amelie Wang’s latest fashion, the professional cuisine team of MIXUN TEAHOUSE highlights the palatable tea set in said pieces. 5 exquisite desserts are to be presented at 3 different tiers. The top tier contains flavourful fresh kiwi, lime and mint jelly. The middle tier is consisting with a scrumptious countryside rice cake and luscious chestnut paste with vanilla warp in beetroot crepe. The third tier is decorated by our special house made tart with cooked carrot and mixed fruits, and braised papaya, white fungus and black guo ji berry in sweet syrup.
A range of beverages are available to be chosen from, to match with the afternoon tea set: local green tea Zhu Ye Qing and Bi Tan Piao Xue; refreshing grapefruit iced tea as well as apple, lemongrass and ginger iced tea are not to be missed.
Amelie Wang has also prepared elegant special gifts for our guests, inspired by the designs of the latest summer collection.
