(Chengdu, China; 10th September, 2018) MI XUN SPA at The Temple House has been awarded “Best Men’s Treatment of the Year” for the second year running at the 9th SpaChina Awards, hosted in Sanya.

The SpaChina Award is considered one of the industry’s highest accolades, both in China and across Asia. Nominees are put through a rigorous four-month evaluation by a judging panel, comprising senior spa consultants, experienced spa managers and discerning spa enthusiasts, which accounts for 80% of the final decision, weighed against the results of an online poll. More than 330 distinguished guests in the Spa industry both at home and abroad witnessed the awards ceremony. Thirty-four awards and forty-one awarded spa centers, hotels, resorts and companies were revealed, with all winners awarded with beautifully tailored certificates and an antique modeled trophy -- a blue and white porcelain olive-shaped vase with peaches-and-bats patterns.

“At our MI XUN Spa and Barber we have further enhanced the grooming and wellness offerings for discerning gentlemen. Not only are we offering sharp haircuts and clean shaves but also in collaboration with Venus Legacy. Men can now undergo rejuvenation with our MI XUN Gents Makeover – When Panda transforms into a Poodle. This head-to-toe transformation includes the removal of fine eye lines and an instant tummy tuck to tone stomach muscles, finished by an ultimate local hair wash experience and style whilst enjoying a MI XUN Negroni. Being awarded the Best Men's Treatment of the Year at the SpaChina Awards 2018 second year running is a great honour for MI XUN SPA and our resident barber Herry Xu, and gives us motivation to further develop tailor-made treatments for our gentleman clients so that they can feel and look good,” said Kurt Macher, General Manager of The Temple House.
